The Commission on Indigent Defense (SCCID) is a South Carolina state agency responsible for establishing and overseeing programs and services that provide legal representation to indigent defendants facing criminal charges in the state's courts. SCCID sets criteria for determining indigent clients, plays a crucial role in offering and supervising training programs for public defenders and staff statewide and oversees a central reporting system for statistical data related to the delivery of indigent defense services.
Wingard Graphics has maintained a close collaboration with SCCID, initially revamping the agency's online presence by creating an ADA accessibility-compliant website. Our ongoing partnership with SCCID has involved the development of innovative services for its attorneys and staff, including a comprehensive online case registration system with complex data collection and reporting, and a resource bank. The website is regularly updated to ensure accessibility compliance and alignment with evolving legal requirements.
